On January 23, the Vietnam Information and Communications Trade Union (VICTU) announced that, in order to take care of union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year, the VICTU issued Plan No. 668/KH-CDTTTT dated November 7, 2024 on organizing activities to take care of union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025 and participating in the online program "Trade Union Tet Market 2025"; Plan No. 757/KH-CDTTTT dated December 5, 2024 on organizing and participating in the program "Trade Union Tet Market 2025".
The Standing Committee of the Trade Union has reviewed, selected and compiled a list of union members, employees and union officials to participate in the online "Trade Union Tet Market 2025" program organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Of which, 941 union members have excellent achievements in labor, production, and trade union activities, union members are still facing difficulties and have low incomes; 49 grassroots union officials and superior unions are supported to participate in the online "Trade Union Tet Market 2025" program.
With the motto "All union members and workers have Tet", Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has organized activities to care for Tet for union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025 with an amount of 1,318,000,000 VND.
Of which, visiting 599 union members in especially difficult circumstances, at the rate of 1,000,000 VND/person, total amount: 599,000,000 VND; Giving gifts and supporting 958 union members and workers to participate in the "Union Tet Market 2025" Program of the Vietnam Information and Communications Trade Union, at the rate of 500,000 VND/person, total amount of 479,000,000 VND; Giving gifts to workers, civil servants and workers of 20 units on duty for the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025, total amount of 240,000,000 VND.
Visit and give 100 Tet gifts to policy families, poor households and people in difficult circumstances in Nam Dinh province, amount of 1,000,000 VND/gift, total 100 million VND.
