According to the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group (TKV), "Miners' Tet - Celebrating the glorious Party" 2025 will be held in 6 regions, of which 3 regions are in Quang Ninh, including Cam Pha, Ha Long, Uong Bi and the remaining 3 regions are in Thai Nguyen, the Northwest and the Central Highlands.
In Quang Ninh, "Miner's Tet" 2025 will be held at the stadium of the Machinery Manufacturing Company - TKV, Cam Pha City, the workers' dormitory of the Hon Gai Coal Company, Ha Long City and the Miners' Park of the Vang Danh Coal Joint Stock Company, Uong Bi City.
In the Northwest region, "Miner's Tet" 2025 is held in Lao Cai province, while in the Central Highlands, "Miner's Tet" 2025 is held in Lam Dong province, and Thai Nguyen is the place to hold "Miner's Tet" 2025 in the Hanoi - Viet Bac region.
The 2025 "Miner's Tet" for TKV workers and laborers outside Quang Ninh will be held simultaneously tomorrow (January 15), while the 2025 "Miner's Tet" in the Quang Ninh Mining area will take place all day on January 18, 2025.
"Miner's Tet" 2025 includes many exciting and meaningful programs and activities to join hands to take care of Tet for workers.
According to the plan, TKV will spend more than 30 billion VND from the Centralized Welfare Fund and TKV Trade Union's financial resources to give Tet gifts to workers.
Accordingly, TKV will give cash gifts of 2 million VND/person to 3,000 outstanding workers and 9,587 workers in difficult circumstances.
Giving Tet gifts worth 500,000 VND/bag to 1,700 workers participating in the program "Tet for Miners - Celebrating the glorious Party".
Within the framework of the program, delegations of Group leaders and trade unions will visit, wish a happy new year and give gifts directly to outstanding workers and workers in especially difficult circumstances.
TKV Trade Union continues to coordinate with units to support workers to return home for Tet, present "Trade Union Shelters" and provide financial support to workers of some units facing special difficulties in production and business in 2024.
Taking care of workers during Tet is a good tradition of TKV and the trade union organization, showing gratitude and deep concern for workers.
Through these activities, TKV hopes to motivate employees to work with peace of mind, stay committed and accompany the company to complete its tasks in 2025.
With the theme "Miners' Tet - Celebrating the glorious Party" and the motto "All workers have Tet", Tet care is carried out synchronously from the department, construction site, workshop, unit to the Group level in flexible, public, transparent forms, suitable to the conditions and actual situation of the unit.
TKV requires that activities to care for and support employees must be practical, effective, and targeted, with special attention paid to employees in especially difficult circumstances, those who have had work accidents, have serious illnesses, are affected by natural disasters, storms and floods, and families with preferential policies...; at the same time, promptly reward and encourage employees with outstanding achievements in production and business, employees who must work and perform Tet duty at the unit.
For subsidiaries and affiliated units, based on business results and plan completion levels, proactively balance salary sources and bonus funds to supplement salaries and bonuses for employees at a rate of VND 10 million/person during the Lunar New Year.
Develop a plan for employees to register for Tet holidays and arrange a means of transportation to pick up and drop off employees before and after Tet according to the unit's ability; support part or all of the train and bus tickets for employees to return to their hometowns to celebrate Tet and return to work safely, in accordance with the needs of employees and the conditions of the unit.
Organize spring and Tet activities, visit and encourage workers who are unable to return home for Tet, sick workers, workers with unstable work-related accidents who are being treated at medical facilities.
Develop a plan to organize activities to "Celebrate the Party - Celebrate Spring", enjoy Spring, celebrate Tet for employees in collective housing areas and apartment buildings of the unit; prepare conditions to organize activities such as year-end meetings, New Year's Eve, New Year's greetings for employees with the motto of practicality, safety and economy.
