On the afternoon of June 30, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) organized a Conference to announce the decision to establish the Vietnam Trade Union Guesthouse Co., Ltd. and decisions on personnel work.
Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour; Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour; Vice Presidents of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour: Thai Thu Xuong, Nguyen Xuan Hung, Le Van Nghia.
At the conference, Mr. Tong Van Bang - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Labor Relations Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour on the establishment of Vietnam Trade Union Guesthouse Co., Ltd.
According to the decision, Vietnam Trade Union Guesthouse One Member Limited Liability Company was established on the basis of converting the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour's Guesthouse public service unit into a business with 100% charter capital held by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour.
At the conference, the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour announced the Decision on renaming the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour Guest House to the Party Committee of Vietnam Trade Union Guest House One Member Limited Liability Company.
The VGCL has announced decisions on personnel work for the Vietnam Trade Union Guesthouse One Member Limited Liability Company.
According to Decision No. 59/QD-TLD dated June 25, 2026, Mr. Nguyen Van Bac - Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee was received to work at Vietnam Trade Union Guesthouse Co., Ltd. and appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Member Council, for a term of 5 years from June 25, 2026.
On the same day, the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor issued Decision No. 48-QD/DU appointing Mr. Nguyen Van Bac to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Vietnam Trade Union Guest House Co., Ltd. for the term 2025-2030.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Ha - Director of the General Confederation of Labor Guesthouse, was appointed to hold the position of Member of the Member Council of Vietnam Trade Union Guesthouse Co., Ltd., term of 5 years from July 1, 2026.
Also according to the announced decisions, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huyen, Deputy Head of the Organization - Administration Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Guesthouse, was appointed as a full-time Supervisor of Vietnam Trade Union Guesthouse Co., Ltd., with a term of 5 years from July 1, 2026.
Speaking at the announcement ceremony of the decisions to establish Vietnam Trade Union Guest House Co., Ltd., President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour Nguyen Anh Tuan emphasized that the conversion of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour Guest House from a non-business unit to a business model is a major policy of the Party, State and Vietnam General Confederation of Labour to implement the arrangement and renovation of public non-business units.
The President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour affirmed that the transformation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour Guest House to a business model is an inevitable and mandatory trend. Therefore, the leadership collective, officials, and employees need to proactively prepare their mindset to adapt to the new model.
The transition process will have many advantages but also many difficulties, especially in the initial stage of operating according to the enterprise model. The most important thing is that the leadership collective must be united and unified to promote existing advantages, while overcoming internal limitations, overcoming challenges and bringing the enterprise to stable development," Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan emphasized.
In addition, the President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour requested Vietnam Trade Union Guesthouse Co., Ltd. to urgently review the entire system of regulations and management regulations of the unit to be consistent with the business model.
Regulations that are no longer appropriate need to be amended or abolished; the missing contents must be developed soon, ensuring that corporate governance activities are in accordance with the provisions of law, and at the same time suitable to the specific characteristics of enterprises under the Trade Union organization.
Another important task that Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan noted is to review the entire facilities and operations of branches and affiliated units to improve the efficiency of management and exploitation of assets.
He affirmed that the VGCL will always accompany and support the Company in the initial transition phase so that the enterprise can quickly develop stably, promote operational efficiency and make positive contributions to the development of the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
Speaking to receive his assignment at the announcement ceremony of decisions on organization and personnel, Mr. Nguyen Van Bac - Chairman of the Member Council of Vietnam Trade Union Guesthouse Co., Ltd. - expressed his honor and emotion when the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour trusted him with a new responsibility.
Clearly aware of the responsibility of the head, I will constantly learn, quickly grasp the functions and tasks of the enterprise; uphold the spirit of responsibility, wholeheartedly and wholeheartedly with the work to successfully complete the assigned tasks, worthy of the trust of the leaders of the VGCL" - Mr. Nguyen Van Bac emphasized.
In his position as Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Member Council, he committed to building a united and unified bloc with the collective of Party committees, leaders and all officials and employees; seriously implementing the leadership and direction of the Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour; and at the same time urgently implementing the tasks assigned by the Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour at the conference.
At the conference, the Member Council of Vietnam Trade Union Guesthouse Co., Ltd. announced the decisions to appoint the Board of Directors and Chief Accountant of the company.
According to the Decision of the Member Council, Mr. Nguyen Manh Ha, Member of the Member Council, was appointed to hold the position of General Director of Vietnam Trade Union Guesthouse Co., Ltd., for a term of 5 years from July 1, 2026; appointed 3 Deputy General Directors including: Nguyen Cong Hai, Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen, Nguyen Thi Huyen; Chief Accountant - Vu Truong Giang.
