On the morning of May 19, at the Forum "Trade Union members studying and following Uncle Ho in emulation for good labor, high productivity, and good income", Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Chairman of VNPT Trade Union - presented a paper with the theme "Applying Ho Chi Minh's ideology on patriotic emulation, promoting the role of Trade Unions in promoting the movement for good labor, high productivity, and income for workers".
Speaking at the forum, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan said that VNPT Trade Union currently represents more than 40,000 trade union members and employees at Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group.
The movement "Good labor, creative labor, high productivity, good income" is identified as a key task, of profound significance for trade union organizations and workers throughout the system.
According to Mr. Tuan, in the context of the country entering the digital age, that ideology continues to carry profound contemporary value, especially for the working class and the Vietnam Trade Union organization.

At VNPT, the application of Ho Chi Minh's ideology on patriotic emulation is of particular importance in the context that the entire Group is strongly transforming from the traditional telecommunications enterprise model (Telco) to the digital technology group (TechCo).

The highlight throughout VNPT's emulation movements is not only stopping at the goal of improving productivity and labor efficiency but also focusing on building comprehensive workers with knowledge, skills and bravery to adapt to digital transformation.
Stemming from Ho Chi Minh's ideology of comprehensive care for people, the VNPT Trade Union determined: Emulation is not only to increase labor productivity, but more deeply to improve the quality of life, build a happy working environment and develop people comprehensively.
Therefore, the VNPT Trade Union has deployed surveys and assessments of the Employee Happiness Index throughout the group based on criteria: on employment, income, working conditions and labor relations at the workplace; on family-social relationships and personal life.
From there, build solutions to gradually improve the VNPT employee happiness index as a modern and humane management tool. The survey results in 2024 reaching 7.38/10 points have affirmed the strong, methodical and humane efforts of the VNPT Trade Union in taking employee happiness as a measure of operational quality" - Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan affirmed.
