Ho Chi Minh City - A car traveling on Huynh Tan Phat street (Ho Chi Minh City) suddenly caught fire fiercely, completely burning the vehicle.

On May 19, Tan Thuan Ward Police (HCMC) said that they are coordinating with professional units to investigate and clarify the cause of a car suddenly catching fire fiercely on Huynh Tan Phat street.

Initial information, at about 4 am on the same day, the car was traveling on Huynh Tan Phat street in the direction of moving towards Phu My bridge. When the car just reached the section in front of Cho Lon electronics and furniture supermarket (in Tan Thuan ward), the driver suddenly discovered flames and black smoke billowing fiercely from the front of the car.

Immediately, the driver quickly pulled over to the side of the road and opened the door to escape. This person and some surrounding people immediately mobilized mini fire extinguishers and local water to try to put out the fire. However, due to the fire breaking out too quickly and encountering flammable materials, in just a few minutes, the fire engulfed the entire front of the car and was at risk of spreading.

Receiving a report from the people, the Ho Chi Minh City Fire and Rescue Police force in coordination with Tan Thuan Ward Police quickly mobilized specialized fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to approach the scene to deploy fire fighting plans.
