On December 27, Mr. Pham Viet Cong - Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Dong Thap province - said that the highest salary in Dong Thap in 2024 is 200 million VND/person/month.
This is the result from the report of 62 enterprises that are managing and employing 27,348 workers. Of which, there are 7 enterprises with 100% state capital (including central enterprises located in localities), 3 joint stock enterprises with state capital, 15 enterprises with foreign investment capital and 37 private enterprises.
According to Mr. Cong, although production and business are in the recovery period, many enterprises still maintain paying their employees salaries equal to or higher than the regional minimum wage as prescribed by the Government.
Leading the way are foreign-invested enterprises with the highest salary of 200 million VND/person/month. Next are private enterprises with 90 million VND/person/month; single-member LLCs with 100% state-owned capital with 50 million VND; and companies with shares and capital contributions controlled by the state with 32.6 million VND.
