At the program, the Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented 200 Tet gifts to union members and workers in the province, each worth 2.3 million VND, including 2 million VND in cash and in-kind gifts worth 300,000 VND.
Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang acknowledged and praised the efforts of the Dak Lak Provincial Trade Union in implementing welfare programs and caring for the lives of union members and workers during the Lunar New Year. He said that for the 2026 Lunar New Year, trade unions at all levels will continue to implement many practical activities, including the "Trade Union Year-end Meal" program and supporting air tickets for union members to return to their hometowns for Tet.
The Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor expressed his wish that union members and workers in difficult circumstances in Dak Lak will celebrate Tet warmly and fully, enter the new year with a spirit of excitement, overcome difficulties, and continue to strive to complete their tasks well.
Dak Lak currently has more than 60,000 union members and workers, many of whom are still in difficult circumstances. The gifts given directly to them during Tet have become a practical source of encouragement, helping workers reduce worries and have more conditions to welcome Spring.
Sharing at the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Quy (58 years old, union member of Thien Hanh General Hospital) said that her husband died early, she is raising her 32-year-old child with a serious illness alone, with income mainly for treatment. "Having this gift, my child and I will be less vất vả and have a warm Tet" - Ms. Quy said emotionally.
