On July 13, in Quang Ngai City, Emulation Group No. 7 including the Labor Federation of 6 South Central Coast provinces from Quang Nam to Ninh Thuan province held a preliminary conference to review the work of the first 6 months of 2024 and a thematic workshop. "Improve the effectiveness of dialogue and signing of collective labor agreements at enterprises in the current situation."
In the first 6 months of 2024, trade unions at all levels in the Emulation Cluster have closely followed the leadership of the local Party Committee and the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, proactively carrying out regular tasks associated with 11 proposed key task groups. The work of inspection, supervision and care of life , protection of legal and legitimate interests of workers, officials and laborers is taken care of.
Trade unions at all levels have organized visits and supported more than 227 thousand union members and workers in difficult circumstances, accidents, serious diseases and during the Lunar New Year Giap Thin 2024, with a total amount of money. nearly 94 billion VND. The Provincial Labor Federation supported union members and workers to build and repair 172 houses, with a total cost of 7.7 billion VND.
The entire Cluster developed nearly 28 thousand union members, establishing 98 new grassroots unions. The emulation movement to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union took place enthusiastically, with many outstanding activities. At the Conference, delegates also focused on discussing finding solutions to improve the effectiveness of dialogue and signing collective labor agreements at enterprises in the current situation.
Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor praised the achievements of the members of Emulation Cluster No. 7. Regarding the tasks in the future, Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan requested the members of Emulation Group No. 7 to continue taking care of the lives and protecting the legal and legitimate interests of workers and employees. Well organize competitions to celebrate major holidays and important political events of the province and the country; launched peak emulation to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.
