Mr. Phan Van Anh said - The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has also promptly issued policies to share and support workers affected by storm No. 3 (storm Yagi).
Accordingly, the Golden Heart Fund is requested to support union members and workers affected by storm No. 3: Support 10 million VND/person for union members and workers who died due to the impact of the storm; support from 1 - 5 million VND/person for union members and workers who were seriously injured and had to be hospitalized; support from 1 - 3 million VND/case (from accumulated regular expenditure funds) for localities and sectors directly affected by storm No. 3 - based on the level of property damage (roofs blown off, floods swept away, landslides, damaged houses that need immediate repair...) so that union members and workers can overcome the consequences and stabilize their lives...
After presenting the support money at the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province, the working delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor went to Ban Vuoc Primary School (Bat Xat) to present 100 million VND in support to the school - a place at high risk of landslides, which has now been relocated to a safe place; and presented 3 million VND to the family of a teacher living in the commune whose house collapsed due to the impact of storm No. 3.
