On April 17, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance announced the pension and social insurance allowance payment schedule for May 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City as follows:
For the form of payment via personal account, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance will transfer money to the account of pensioners and social insurance beneficiaries from May 5, 2025.
For cash payment, Ho Chi Minh City Post Office will organize payment from May 7 to May 10 at all payment points; from May 11 to May 25 at post offices of the Central Post Office and districts.
Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance said that, based on Notice 6150/TB-BLDTBXH dated December 3, 2024 of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (now the Ministry of Home Affairs - PV) on the occasion of the Victory Day holiday on April 30 and International Labor Day on May 1, 2025, employees of State administrative agencies and public service units will have 5 consecutive days off from Wednesday, April 30, 2025 to Sunday, May 4, 2025 (compensation on Saturday, April 26, 2025).
Thus, the pension and social insurance allowance payment schedule for May 2025 will be slower than previous normal months, due to the above holidays.
