At the meeting at Viet Thien Garment Company Limited (Vinh Tuong District), Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Vinh Phuc Province Nguyen Van Manh informed the officials, union members, and workers about the expected time, program, and content of the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly. In particular, focusing on the draft Law on Trade Unions (amended) and the Law on Employment (amended).
Workers of Viet Thien Garment Company Limited proposed to review the content and terms of the unemployment insurance application file according to the draft Law on Employment (amended).
At the same time, I hope the National Assembly will soon pass the draft laws, especially the Trade Union Law (amended), to create a legal basis for the Trade Union to effectively perform its tasks of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.
Receiving and acknowledging the opinions of union members on the draft laws, Mr. Nguyen Van Manh requested workers to strive to learn, improve their qualifications and capacity, proactively innovate, be creative, strictly comply with the provisions of the law on labor, internal rules and regulations of enterprises... contributing to improving production and business efficiency.
The Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Vinh Phuc province also requested local Party committees, authorities, enterprises and trade unions at all levels to continue to pay more attention and care for the material and spiritual lives of trade union members in the area.
On this occasion, the National Assembly Delegation coordinated with the Vinh Phuc Provincial Labor Federation to present 500 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to 500 workers in difficult circumstances affected by storm No. 3.
