At the Phu Ly ward hall, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Xuan Hung presented gifts to 250 workers, representing 400 workers in difficult circumstances, each worth 1.3 million VND.
Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Xuan Hung highly appreciated the role and responsibility of trade union levels in Ninh Binh province in the past time. Ninh Binh Trade Union has always been proactive and strengthened close coordination with Party committees, local authorities and the business community to effectively implement many practical and timely activities, towards grassroots levels and workers.
Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Xuan Hung emphasized that the program of visiting and giving gifts on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026 is the sentiment of the Vietnam Trade Union organization to union members and workers. Although the gifts are not large in material value, they are timely encouragement, contributing to creating more motivation to help workers in difficult circumstances celebrate Tet and enjoy Spring in a warm and meaningful atmosphere.
The Trade Union wishes employees to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, will to rise up, enthusiastically work, and be attached to businesses and trade union organizations, contributing to building sustainable businesses. Trade union organizations at all levels will always accompany, listen to and take better care of the lives, jobs, and rights of employees. From there, contributing to building Ninh Binh province to become increasingly rich, beautiful, civilized, and making many positive contributions to the cause of building and developing the country.
According to the plan, the remaining gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will be given to 150 workers in difficult circumstances from businesses in Chau Son Industrial Park and Phu Ly ward.
Mr. Nguyen Hai Long - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation - said that in the past time, trade union levels in the province have proactively coordinated with Party committees and authorities to take care of the material and spiritual life of union members and workers in order to stabilize labor relations during Tet.
At the same time, regularly monitor, grasp the situation and supervise the implementation of regimes, policies, and payment of salaries and bonuses during Tet for union members and workers at units and businesses. Proactively coordinate to promptly resolve the problems of workers, not to let labor disputes or collective work stoppages occur, especially those arising during Tet.
Currently, most grassroots trade unions have plans to organize the "Tet Reunion - Spring Gratitude to the Party" Program. Many units and businesses spend funds to organize lucky draw programs for union members and workers with many valuable gifts and commend typical workers and employees with outstanding achievements in labor production. Thereby, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere for workers to feel secure in working, attached, sharing and accompanying businesses, contributing to building stable and developed businesses" - Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation Nguyen Hai Long said.
