On January 10, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) and the National Assembly Delegation of Long An province visited and presented gifts to workers in difficult circumstances in Long An province, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.
The delegation presented 100 gifts (each worth VND 1,300,000) to union members and workers in difficult circumstances working at La Ma Company Limited (Ben Luc district, Long An province) and Duy Tan Plastic Recycling Joint Stock Company (Duc Hoa district, Long An province).
Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Le Tan Toi - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for National Defense and Security - highly appreciated the work of Long An Provincial Trade Unions at all levels in caring for the lives of workers and laborers in the recent past as well as the work of caring for the Lunar New Year 2025 for workers. Many activities to protect the rights and provide practical and effective care for workers have been carried out, especially in difficult times, thereby contributing to ensuring security, order and social safety.
Lieutenant General Le Tan Toi shared that the gifts sent today to union members and workers contribute to bringing a warm Tet, a beautiful spring to everyone. At the same time, he sincerely thanked the workers who have been working and producing, contributing tirelessly to the socio-economic development of Long An province.
