Implementing the policies of the Party and State, the regulations of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on organizing activities to care for union members and workers during the Lunar New Year, period 2021-2025, the activities to care for Tet of Trade Unions at all levels are organized richly, diversely, flexibly and practically at all levels, focusing on the grassroots level, prioritizing the care of union members and workers in especially difficult circumstances, those who have had work accidents, occupational diseases, serious illnesses, natural disasters, floods; union members and workers in need of or lose their jobs; union members and workers who are policy beneficiaries, are ethnic minorities or have not had the opportunity to return home to their families for many years during the Lunar New Year; union members and workers who have not returned home to work or work for Tet.
In the 2021-2025 period, over 44.6 million union members and workers have benefited from Tet care activities of Trade Unions at all levels, with a total amount of care and support of over 31,000 billion VND. Many localities and sectors have outstanding activities in Tet care activities such as the Hanoi City Labor Federation, Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation; Hai Phong City Labor Federation, Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union and Vietnam Rubber and Rubber Trade Union, Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Trade Union, National Defense Trade Union and Vietnam Airlines Corporation Trade Union...
According to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, in the period of 2021-2025, the Tet care activities of Trade Unions at all levels will be organized practically, effectively, and widely, strongly demonstrating the role and position affirming innovation, substance, going into depth, focusing on the grassroots, union members, and workers, thereby strengthening the trust of many union members, workers, and society in the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
With the deep attention of leaders of the Party, State, National Assembly, departments, ministries, branches, Party committees at all levels and the coordination of authorities at all levels, the active companionship and support of the business community, organizations, individuals... the Trade Unions at all levels have organized activities to care for the Lunar New Year for union members and workers and have achieved important results, thereby helping tens of millions of union members and workers to be cared for and supported both materially and spiritually every Lunar New Year, organizing for union members and workers to celebrate the Lunar New Year happily, healthily, safely, and economically, contributing to the Party, State, and Government to increasingly better care for the interests of union members, so as not to " leave anyone behind".
Through the activities of the Trade Union organization to care for Tet, it has contributed to raising awareness, attracting the attention of Party committees at all levels, authorities, business communities and the whole society to allocate appropriate resources, organize activities to care for union members and workers, spread the spirit of "mutual love", promote the fine traditions of the Vietnamese people every time Tet comes, Spring comes.
