Khanh Hoa - Pension and allowance payments will be paid by Khanh Hoa Provincial Social Insurance through personal accounts to beneficiaries.

On October 2, a representative of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Social Insurance (VSI) said that from tomorrow (October 3), the provincial VSI will have changes in transferring money to pay pensions and monthly allowances.

Accordingly, for pensioners and monthly social insurance beneficiaries in cash at post office payment points, the payment time and location remain the same as announced by the post office.

For those who receive monthly pensions and social insurance benefits through personal accounts (ATM), the Khanh Hoa Provincial Social Insurance will directly transfer the payment, not through the post office, from the 3rd of each month. Payments through personal accounts are made through the electronic payment system (E-COPAY) and are 2 days earlier than before.

In cases of receiving 2 or more regimes, payments will be made according to each regime with different times instead of paying at once as before.

According to statistics from Khanh Hoa Social Insurance in 2024, the whole province had 36,554 cases of monthly pension and social insurance benefits payment (an increase of 1,381 cases compared to 2023) with a total amount of more than 256 billion VND. Of which, the number of people receiving monthly pension and social insurance benefits via ATM was 26,317 cases (an increase of 4,401 cases compared to 2023), with a total amount of more than 194 billion VND.

Increasing monthly pension and social insurance benefits through ATMs will bring many benefits to beneficiaries, proactively look up received money, reduce travel time. On the other hand, the social insurance management agency will also ensure payment to the right person, right regime, reducing intermediaries.

“In case the monthly pension and social insurance benefit recipient changes the beneficiary account information, they need to contact the social insurance agency to correct the information. Changing the time and method of payment may initially cause problems, the recipient can contact the nearest social insurance agency for resolution” - the representative of Khanh Hoa province social insurance added.
