Dong Nai City People's Committee also assigned the City Construction Investment Project Management Board to urgently report specifically and clarify the responsibilities of relevant organizations and individuals in the process of self-organizing appraisal and approval of construction design adjustments implemented after the basic design...; Organize the development of plans and report to the City People's Committee to definitively handle the surplus land volume that has been gathered at the temporary storage yard (including during the construction phase and when construction of works and projects has been completed) according to the guidance of the Department of Agriculture and Environment.
Dong Nai City People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to coordinate with the City Construction Investment Project Management Board, Tan Loi Commune People's Committee and related units to organize inspection and supervision of project implementation by the investor according to regulations, ensuring compliance with specialized laws.
Assign the Tan Loi Commune People's Committee to organize the implementation and supervise the compliance and application of remedial measures, and report to higher levels if the case exceeds the authority to resolve for the volume of excavated soil outside the project implementation area.
The project to upgrade and expand DT. 753 and build Ma Da bridge connecting Long Thanh airport and Cai Mep - Thi Vai port was approved for construction investment in 2023 with a total investment of 480 billion VND. The project has a length of 13km passing through Dong Tam, Tan Loi communes and Binh Phuoc ward, Dong Nai city.
The above project has a construction section through Tan Loi commune that has lowered the ground level, causing people's houses to be precarious.
Previously, on March 17, 2026, the Dong Nai City Construction Investment Project Management Board publicly apologized to the affected households.
