The job has a stable income and is not far from home, which she did not dare to think of a few years ago.
Going to work far away provinces, the salary is the same, renting a house, and occasionally returning to the countryside, the cost of train and bus is also high. Now having work right in the countryside, going out in the morning and returning home in the evening, eating and living with the family saves a lot of things and has conditions to take care of children and houses. Now I just hope for more income and a stable long-term job" - Ms. Lan shared.
More than 3km from Phuc Ung 1 IC, Phuc Ung 2 IC is continuing to be invested in infrastructure construction. This is one of the large-scale industrial clusters in terms of area and total investment (48ha wide, investment over 530 billion VND) being implemented in Tuyen Quang province.
Recorded in mid-June 2026, leveling and site clearance work is being implemented, dozens of machinery and equipment, and manpower are underway at the project. This IC is planned in a modern direction with multi-industry such as processing industry, manufacturing and production of electrical - electronic equipment, packaging... When put into operation, Phuc Ung 2 IC will create jobs for over 3,000 local workers.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Phong - Head of the Project Management Board of Phuc Ung Industrial Cluster 2 and 3 said that the investor is urgently completing construction deployment procedures, with the goal of putting the industrial cluster into operation in the fastest time.
This is one of the projects that the province expects to create a strong shift in attracting industrial investment and creating jobs for workers right in the locality, currently the progress is being accelerated" - Mr. Phong informed.
In fact, in the past time, there has been a fairly positive labor shift in rural areas in Tuyen Quang province when industrial clusters were built, creating tens of thousands of jobs, and workers have many job options on the spot instead of having to work in other provinces.
According to the Department of Industry and Trade of Tuyen Quang province, the whole province has established 17 ICs with a total area of 810ha. Investors are actively completing procedures and deploying infrastructure to attract secondary projects. Among them, 9 ICs have attracted 45 investment projects, with a total registered capital of over 8,377 billion VND, 34 projects have been put into operation, creating jobs for nearly 10,200 workers. The average occupancy rate reached 43%.
Talking to PV, Mr. Hoang Anh Cuong - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Tuyen Quang province - informed that CCN development is one of the province's priorities. Along with creating conditions and promoting investment attraction, the province has also resolutely requested investors to accelerate progress, soon complete infrastructure, and put projects into operation.
Industrial cluster infrastructure investment enterprises are required to establish a standing working group in the province, proactively arrange and mobilize capital sources in a timely manner, and regularly closely monitor project implementation progress. Site clearance work is also carried out drastically, not allowing site clearance to affect progress" - Mr. Hoang Anh Cuong said.
After the merger, Tuyen Quang has adjusted the provincial plan for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, this locality plans 48 ICs with a total area of about 2,450ha, removing 11 no longer suitable ICs from the plan, with an area of 185ha.
