Last week, from September 15 to 19, the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor (VFF) implemented many outstanding activities.
Leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor attended important conferences, including the dissemination of the Central Resolution, the meeting of the Provincial Party Congress Subcommittee and a workshop on provincial development until 2050. At the same time, leaders also attended digital transformation conferences and dialogues on social insurance and health insurance.
The Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor has summarized the activities of the third quarter, deployed key tasks for the fourth quarter, and collected comments on the 14th National Congress Documents and the plan to organize grassroots trade union congresses.
The Provincial Federation of Labor has developed 999 new union members, established 3 grassroots unions (CDCS), renamed 4 grassroots unions and merged the old Labor Federations of the 03 provinces into one affiliated grassroots union.
At the same time, the Provincial Federation of Labor handed over 6 Trade Union Shelters to union members in difficult circumstances, inspected and supervised 7 grassroots unions in terms of finance and asset management, guided the completion of the Executive Committee, implemented the assessment of the quality of collective labor agreements and grassroots union activities.
The affiliated trade unions also actively organized cultural activities, awarded prizes to 16 individuals in the Labor Union Singing Contest and supported 2 union members in difficulty with a total budget of 220 million VND, demonstrating the practical concern of the trade union organization for the lives of union members.
