In the fourth quarter of 2025, the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor (VFF) identified many important tasks, both to complete the targets set for the year and to carefully prepare for the 1st Provincial Federation of Labor Congress, term 2025-2030.
In particular, the organization and guidance of trade union congresses at all levels is considered the top priority task. The Provincial Federation of Labor will issue documents to direct and guide, and carefully prepare the content, personnel and conditions to serve the Provincial Congress.
At the same time, the work of building the Trade Union organization is being promoted with the appraisal of documents, establishment of commune and ward trade unions; mobilizing the development of new union members and grassroots trade unions; at the same time, reviewing, recovering and changing seals for grassroots trade unions to ensure legality.
The Provincial Federation of Labor also paid special attention to taking care of union members' lives, implementing the handover of "Union Shelter" houses, organizing cultural and sports activities such as the Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament, and "Full Moon Festival Night" for union members' children. In addition, the establishment of the Provincial Trade Union Charity Fund continues to be implemented in accordance with regulations.
Regarding financial work, the Provincial Federation of Labor focuses on collecting union funds and union fees, urging units to promptly transfer 2% of union funds, ensuring resources for activities. The inspection and supervision of compliance with the Charter and management of trade union finance and assets at the grassroots level will be completed in October 2025.
At the end of the fourth quarter, the Provincial Federation of Labor will direct the summary of activities in 2025, develop a work program for 2026, and organize a conference to summarize and reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.
