As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, at around 9:00 p.m. on September 22, a fire broke out at a house in lane 175 Lac Long Quan Street (Tay Ho Ward, Hanoi). After a period of efforts to put out the fire and search and rescue, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police (PCCC&CNCH) completely extinguished the fire.
Upon receiving the report, the Hanoi City Police Command Information Center mobilized the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team No. 14 and the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team No. 8 - Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department, dispatched 4 fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to quickly go to the scene to organize fire fighting and rescue. Along with that, the leaders of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Hanoi City Police continued to mobilize 2 more command vehicles and 1 truck carrying specialized vehicles, directly to the scene to command fire fighting and rescue work.

As soon as they arrived at the scene, through reconnaissance work, the force determined that the fire was developing strongly on the first floor of the 3-storey house (area of about 37m2), smoke and toxic gas covered the first floor and spread to the upper floors through the stairs inside the house.
The fire fighting commander quickly directed a team carrying personal protective equipment and airbags to move to the upper floors for search, rescue and relief; at the same time, deployed a fire fighting formation to control the fire on the first floor, not allowing the fire to spread to the upper floors and adjacent houses.
By 9:26 p.m. the same day, the fire was completely extinguished. The Fire Prevention and Rescue Force reassured their spirit and guided one person (the homeowner's wife) to escape to a safe location.

Previously, a person was injured (the homeowner's son) and was taken to the emergency room by local people. His health is now stable.
According to the source, the cause may be that the homeowner used gasoline to cause a fire that injured one person, and the other people in the house were brought out safely by the police.
The cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by the authorities according to the law.
