Apple is planning a vibrant first half of 2026, with a series of new devices in key product lines such as iPhone, iPad, MacBook and even smart home devices.
According to Bloomberg, the tech giant will launch a series of notable upgrades, promising to create a new wave in the technology world.
iPhone 17e: successor to the A19 chip
The focus of the launch at the beginning of the year could be the iPhone 17e, the next version of the iPhone 16e.
The device is rumored to keep the current design but has been upgraded to the A19 chip, similar to the high-end iPhone 17 series. The iPhone 17e is likely to appear as early as February 2026, targeting customers who prefer powerful performance but do not need the most premium features.
MacBook and MacBook Air: Equipped with new M5 chip
Apple is also preparing to update the MacBook Pro line with two new models measuring 14-inch and 16-inch, using the latest M5 chip.
Initially planned for 2025, these two devices (code names J714 and J716) were delayed to early 2026. This could be the last generation to use the current design before Apple switches to a new look with OLED displays.
At the same time, the MacBook Air will also be refreshed with the M5 chip, expected to have two 13-inch and 15-inch versions (code J813 and J815). This is a move that shows that Apple continues to maintain its fast-zycle hardware update strategy, especially for popular devices.
iPad Air and basic iPad: Improved performance
In the tablet segment, Apple is expected to launch an upgraded iPad Air with an M4 chip, along with a low-cost iPad model equipped with a faster processor but keeping the design.
Both are expected to launch between March and April 2026, continuing to compete in the mid-range and popular segments.
Smart home devices and new screens
Another notable device is the smart home control center, a product that Apple had planned to launch in 2025 but was delayed due to difficulties in developing Siri.
The device has now been resumed, and is expected to launch in the first half of 2026. At the same time, Apple is also expected to introduce a new left screen, following Studio Display and Pro Display XDR.
With a complex product roadmap and many improvements in processor chips, Apple is showing its ambition to maintain its leading position in the personal device and smart ecosystem market by 2026.
