Apple is developing a new feature on the visionOS 3 operating system, allowing you to roll up pages without hand gestures, applicable when reading, surfing the web and many other situations.
Currently, Vision Pro has supported navigation by looking at a section and then using your hand to touch it. The addition of eye rolling is considered the next natural step in this feature.
Apple plans to deploy a new feature for all built-in apps on Vision Pro, and release a tool for third-party developers to integrate into their apps.
The Vision Pro device is equipped with many cameras for eye monitoring and eye scanning - biometric authentication feature.
Previously, Apple also tested eye tracking technology on iPhone and iPad with the purpose of supporting access, allowing users to look to navigate and keep their eyes at one point to perform the "touch" action.
Apple will officially introduce VisionOS 3 at the WWDC Developers Conference, which opens on June 9.
