The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued an official dispatch on researching and guiding the establishment of a concentrated information technology park in Bac Ninh province.

The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province received Official Dispatch No. 4051/BTTTT-CNICT dated September 27 of the Ministry of Information and Communications on guidance on the establishment of the concentrated IT park in Bac Ninh province.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province assigned the Management Board of Industrial Parks of the province to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to study the guidance content of the Ministry of Information and Communications; advise on the implementation of the province's concentrated information technology park in accordance with current regulations.
Concentrated information technology parks are areas that concentrate research - development, training, production and trading of information technology products and services, provision of infrastructure, provision of information technology services for organizations, enterprises and other activities related to information technology. Currently, concentrated information technology parks have been deployed in a number of localities with strengths in developing the electronics - information technology sector.
According to the Decision approving the 1/2000 scale construction zoning planning task, the Bac Ninh province concentrated information technology park has an area of about 274 hectares, the planning boundary belongs to the wards of Khac Niem, Vo Cuong (Bac Ninh city) and the communes of Lien Bao, Hien Van (Tien Du district).
Of which, the IT Park concentrates on about 250 hectares, about 24 hectares is the area of external traffic roads, isolated trees, cemetery land, religion, irrigation works... The scale of the number of workers and experts is expected to be about 20,000 people.
