The Standing Committee of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee has just decided to establish a Steering Committee on the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation of Quang Binh province. Provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang is the Head of the Steering Committee.
The new Steering Committee was established to replace the previous Digital Transformation Steering Committee, with 30 members. The task of the Steering Committee is to advise the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee in implementing the goals and tasks according to Resolution No. 57 dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.
In addition, the Steering Committee also monitors, inspects, supervises, summarizes and summarizes the implementation of the Central's policies, orientations and regulations on science, technology and digital transformation.
In recent years, Quang Binh has made progress in digital transformation with many issued policies, including Resolution No. 07 on digital transformation and Action Program No. 38. However, the progress of digital transformation has not yet met expectations, the infrastructure is still lacking in synchronization, and online public services are not highly effective.
In the coming time, the province will focus on accelerating the development of digital infrastructure, improving online public services, building a real digital government, promoting the digital economy and applying digital technology in key areas.
