On the morning of October 31, in Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh Province, the Central Organizing Committee announced the Politburo's decision on the transfer, assignment and appointment of Mr. Le Ngoc Quang - Member of the Party Central Committee, General Director of Vietnam Television to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
On behalf of the Politburo, Mr. Le Minh Hung - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission - presented the Politburo's decision to Mr. Le Ngoc Quang.
Mr. Le Ngoc Quang was born on January 21, 1974, hometown Thieu Duong commune, Thieu Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province.
He used to hold the positions of Deputy Head - News Department and Head - News Department of Vietnam Television.
On November 11, 2019, the Prime Minister signed a decision to appoint Mr. Le Ngoc Quang to the position of Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television.
On August 18, 2020, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang was elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Vietnam Television for the 2020-2025 term.
In October 2020, he was elected as a member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc, term XIII, 2020-2025.
In November 2020, he held the position of Permanent Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television.
On January 30, 2021, at the 13th National Congress of the Party, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang was elected as a member of the 13th Party Central Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
On March 22, 2021, the Prime Minister signed a decision to appoint Mr. Le Ngoc Quang as General Director of Vietnam Television from April 1, 2021.
