Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Le Thanh Do - Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee, said that with the "digital education" movement, Dien Bien province aims to strive to have 100% of adults with basic knowledge of digitalization, appropriate digital skills and ready to actively participate in digital society by 2026.
"This movement not only improves personal capacity, but also activates the spirit of lifelong learning, spreads knowledge and connects the community in the digital age" - Mr. Do emphasized.
For the movements to become practical and spread widely, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Bien province requested that the implementation of the movement contents must be carried out methodically, flexibly, and creatively with solutions. In particular, strongly applying online learning platforms; training, layered training by subject group.
At the same time, promote effective models such as: "Digital Ambassador", "Digital Family", "Digital Market, Digital Rural Area" and especially promote the role of community digital technology teams, persistently implement the motto "go to every alley, knock on every door, guide each person".
On this occasion, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Bien province also called for the synchronous, responsible and drastic participation of the entire political system, departments, branches, localities, socio-political organizations, the business community and all people to promote their role as exemplary and pioneering in learning, applying and spreading digital knowledge.
"The success of the movement will be measured by substantial changes in digital capacity, labor productivity and quality of life, contributing to the realization of the goal of building a digital government - digital society - digital economy in the province" - Mr. Le Thanh Do emphasized.
Along with launching the "digital education movement", Dien Bien province also organized the first AI Festival with the participation of digital technology enterprises and telecommunications enterprises. The booths and practice stations for AI application experience and new technology have been introduced for people, students and teachers in Dien Bien province to visit and experience.
