Keyboard language test
Windows may switch to a different language or keyboard layout, causing the characters to be entered incorrectly.
How to do it: Press Windows + Space → Select English (United States) or the keyboard layout you are using → Try typing again.
Check the Vietnamese typing style
If there is only a character error when typing Vietnamese, the cause may be UniKey or EVKey being set incorrectly.
How to do it: Open UniKey → Select the Unicode code table → Select the appropriate Telex or VNI type → Try rewriting the text.
Check the Num Lock key
On some laptops, when Num Lock is turned on, some letter keys can function as numeric keys.
How to do it: Press Num Lock or the key combination Fn + Num Lock depending on the device → Check the keyboard again.
Check Shift and Caps Lock keys
Caps Lock or the Shift key turned on can make lowercase letters uppercase or characters typed differently from the desired.
How to do it: Press Caps Lock to turn it off → Check Shift key status → Try typing again.
Update keyboard driver
Driver errors can cause the keyboard to operate inaccurately.
How to do it: Open Device Manager → Select Keyboards → Right-click on the keyboard → Select Update driver → Restart the device.
Hardware error check
If the keyboard still types the wrong character after checking the settings, the device may have a hardware error.
How to do it: Plug the detachable keyboard into another computer to check → If you are still typing incorrectly, the keyboard may be faulty → With a laptop, you should take the machine for testing if many keys are not working normally.
