Restart Windows Explorer
Windows Explorer encounters an error that may prevent Desktop from displaying even if the machine is still working.
How to do it: Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager → Find Windows Explorer → Right-click → Select Restart.
Restart the computer

How to do it: Go to Windows Recovery Environment → Select Troubleshoot → Advanced options → Uninstall Updates → Uninstall the latest update → Restart the computer.
System restoration
System Restore can restore Windows to the state before the error occurred.
How to do it: Go to Windows Recovery Environment → Select System Restore → Select the appropriate recovery point → Follow the on-screen instructions.
When is it necessary to take the machine for inspection?
If you have tried the above methods but the machine still cannot enter the Desktop, the cause may be a hard drive or SSD malfunction, severe Windows failure or unstable hardware operation.
