Ice Universe, a fairly reliable source on Samsung's plans, shared an image on Weibo depicting the front of the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Like this year's flagship, it has a flat display with slim bezels, but there are some key changes. The side edges, for example, appear flatter than the S24 Ultra (although that could just be a mock-up). The bigger change is the rounded corners of the display.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra looks to ditch the Galaxy Note's signature angular design for a look that's closer to Samsung's other Galaxy S models. The rounded corners are minimal, especially compared to the Pixel 9 series, and quite similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
Samsung used the Galaxy S design in the early generations of the “Ultra” line, but from the Galaxy S22 Ultra onwards, the company opted for a design familiar to Galaxy Note users, incorporating the S Pen slot from the beloved Note series. Subsequent generations have retained the square-edged design, although other products in the Galaxy S line have moved to a more rounded design.
On the back, the current design is still unfinished. It's unclear if it will be different, but Samsung certainly needs to change it after using the same design on the Galaxy S22 Ultra, S23 Ultra, and S24 Ultra models. The Galaxy S25 series is expected to launch early next year.
