At 9:00 p.m. on July 9 (Vietnam time), Samsung will officially organize the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event in Brooklyn, New York. The event is expected to focus on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 foldable phones, as has been the practice in recent years.

According to leaked sources before the event, this will be Samsung's thinnest smartphone ever, with a thickness of about 4-4.5mm when opened. For comparison, the Fold SE is 4.9mm thick when opened, while the Fold 6 is 5.6mm thick.
This significantly reduced thickness can be done with a larger screen. The Z Fold 7 is expected to have an additional 6.5-inch display and an 8.2-inch main screen (both running at 120Hz), which will certainly give Samsung more space to allocate internal components.
The new smartphone model is also equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, which is high-performance. It will also come with a 200MP main camera such as the Galaxy Z Fold SE and Galaxy S25 Ultra. The device will be equipped with 12GB of RAM, along with 3 storage variants: 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.
The device will run on the Android 16 operating system, pre-loaded with One UI 8 software, and will likely be accompanied by 7 years of operating system updates and security. The machine is also supported with an S Pen feel, using an aluminum frame using an Armor aluminum frame instead of titanium and is IP48 water and dust resistant.
In terms of battery life, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to have no changes compared to its predecessor, with a battery life of 4,400 mAh, similar to the previous five Galaxy Z Fold.
