The Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 will not be released until July this year, which creates an opportunity for companies like Xiaomi to lose Samsung's attention. The Mix Flip 2 will compete directly with the Galaxy Z Flip 7, but its main advantage is that it will be launched a little earlier than the foldable flagship of the Korean smartphone maker.
Xiaomi confirmed that they will launch the Mix Flip 2 this June, the exact time is unknown but it is likely to be at the end of the month. In addition to this product, Xiaomi is likely to introduce the Redmi K80 Ultra and the new Redmi gaming tablet.
Mix Flip's technical specifications have not been confirmed. But according to previous sources, this smartphone will have a 6.85-inch foldable screen with a "1.5K" resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, using Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

The device is also equipped with a 5,100 mAh battery that supports 67W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The camera setup is expected to have a 50MP dual sensor for both the main and ultra-wide photos.

Meanwhile, Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip 7 will launch later. The new product of the Korean company is not expected to have too many changes in design, but the 6.85-inch main screen is slightly larger than the previous generation.
