After attracting attention with the super-huge 28,000 mAh battery phone, Avenir Telecom continues to expand the Energizer brand to the laptop market with a new product line promising outstanding battery life.
According to the announcement, Avenir Telecom is developing three notebook models with the Energizer brand: EnergyBook Pro 15, Energy Book Pro XL 18 and EnergyBook Pro Ultra.
In particular, the top-notch Pro Ultra model makes a strong impression with a 192Wh battery, 18-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200.
The company said that the device can operate continuously for up to 28 hours in an office environment and up to seven days in waiting mode, a rare number in the current laptop market.
In terms of configuration, the Energizer EnergyBook Pro Ultra is equipped with AMD Ryzen 5 processor, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD drive, and popular connection ports such as USB-C, USB 3.0, HDMI,SD card reader, and headphone jack.
The starting price was announced at around 523 USD (equivalent to 46,393 Rupee), most likely for the lower version in the product line. Other details about the configuration have not been revealed.
Previously, Avenir Telecom made its mark with the hard case P28K smartphone with a 28,000 mAh battery, providing calling time of up to 122 hours and 94 days of waiting.
The device is designed to be durable according to IP69 standards, suitable for harsh environments, but has the disadvantage of being quite large in weight (570g) and up to 27.8mm thick, far surpassing popular phone models such as the iPhone 15.
In addition to the huge battery, the P28K also supports 33W fast charging, fully charging in less than 90 minutes. The device is powered by MediaTek MT6799, RAM 8GB chips, 256GB internal storage, a rear-facing three-camera cluster, a 6.78-inch LCD Full HD+ screen, and runs Android 14.
The product is expected to go on sale globally in October for 249.99 euros (25.885 Rupee), but is not yet available in the US market.
With a strategy of focusing on long-term battery life, Avenir Telecom seems to be shaping the Energizer brand to become a choice for users who need durable equipment, which can accompany them for a long time without much dependence on the charger.
