On February 3, news from Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said that there is a plan to implement the task of developing science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in 2026.
The plan has many targets and a series of specific policies to create breakthroughs in governance, socio-economic development and improve local competitiveness.
According to the plan, the province clearly identifies the key contents and targets to be achieved in 2026, and at the same time proposes 7 groups of tasks and solutions.
The plan also clearly assigns responsibilities to each agency and unit, associated with specific products.
In which, the key tasks and solutions include: raising awareness, innovating thinking, showing strong political determination in leadership and direction to create new momentum and new atmosphere in the whole society on science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation.
The province requests urgent and drastic completion of institutions; a series of new policies, eliminating barriers, ideologies, and concepts hindering development, making institutions a competitive advantage.
Another important task is to develop and value high-quality human resources, attract talents, experts, and scientists to meet the requirements of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation of the province.
The important targets of the plan are to strive to rank and assess the level of digital transformation (DTI) of Khanh Hoa province to 13th/34 provinces and cities; ranking on network information security to 14th/34 provinces and cities.
In addition, the province sets a target for the proportion of adult population with digital signatures or personal electronic signatures to reach 50% or more; the proportion of citizens aged 14 and over who are permanently or temporarily residing in the area with electronic identification accounts (VNeID) to reach 70% or more.
Many people in Khanh Hoa expressed their expectations and agreement with the series of policies to attract talents and experts in the field of digital transformation that the province is implementing.
According to people, inviting a team of experts, scientists, and technology engineers to the locality not only helps improve the quality of human resources but also creates new motivation for socio-economic development.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Loan - a retired official in Khanh Hoa assessed that when there are more good experts in the field of digital technology, online public services, electronic administrative procedures and digital platforms, it will become more convenient and transparent, contributing to reducing time and costs for people and businesses.
