On the morning of February 4, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), Yamaha Motor Vietnam Company - the main sponsor of the National U13 Youth Football Tournament organized the Award Ceremony for the Vietnam U23 team winning the bronze medal at the 2026 AFC U23 Championship.
Coach Kim Sang-sik and players Khuat Van Khang, Nguyen Cong Phuong, Le Van Ha, Nguyen Xuan Bac, Nguyen Thanh Nhan represented the team to attend the award ceremony.
Accordingly, the sponsor donated 24 motorbikes to head coach Kim Sang-sik and 23 players. The total value of gifts is up to more than 874 million VND.

U23 Vietnam started the AFC U23 Championship finals with a 2-0 victory over U23 Jordan. After that, coach Kim Sang-sik's team continued to overcome U23 Kyrgyzstan 2-1 and U23 Saudi Arabia 1-0 to win the right to enter the quarterfinals with the top spot in Group A.
Facing U23 UAE in a 120-minute match, Dinh Bac and his teammates scored 3 goals to defeat the opponent with a score of 3-2 to win a ticket to the semi-finals. Although unable to participate in the final after a 0-3 defeat to U23 China, U23 Vietnam defeated U23 Korea in the penalty shootout to bring home a bronze medal.
With 10 goals after 6 matches, U23 Vietnam possesses the second most effective attack at the tournament, only behind defending champion U23 Japan with 16 goals. This achievement is higher than many strong teams such as U23 Korea (8 goals), U23 Australia, U23 Jordan and U23 UAE (5 goals).
Personally, Nguyen Dinh Bac is the player who contributed the most goals to U23 Vietnam. The striker born in 2004 scored 4 goals and won the top scorer title of the tournament.
