Cheap MacBook Neo causes fever, Apple surprised by demand exceeding forecasts

Apple's cheapest MacBook model is recording a boom in purchasing power. CEO Tim Cook said demand exceeded expectations, leading to a shortage situation.

Apple's most affordable MacBook ever is achieving great success, based on CEO Tim Cook's sharing this week.

In a recent business results announcement meeting, Tim Cook said that users' reactions to the MacBook Neo "went beyond all expectations" since the product was launched in March.

We cannot be more satisfied with what is happening," he said.

Apple was already very optimistic about the MacBook Neo before announcing it, but according to Mr. Cook, the company still "underestimates" the excitement that the product creates. Demand for the MacBook Neo has exceeded expectations and contributed to bringing a record high number of first-time Mac buyers in the past quarter.

We pay special attention to new customers and those who have used Macs for a very long time," Mr. Cook emphasized.

Due to high demand, MacBook Neo is currently in a state of limited supply. For new orders, Apple's website in the US is displaying an expected delivery time of 2-3 weeks for all configurations.

The success of the MacBook Neo shows that Apple's price reduction strategy to expand its customer base is working effectively. In the context of the slow-growing personal computer market, attracting new users, especially students and first-time Mac users, may become an important driving force to help Apple maintain its growth momentum in the near future.
