Mr. Hoang Nam Tien (born in 1969) is a member of the Board of Directors of FPT Corporation, Vice Chairman of the Board of FPT University, former Chairman of FPT Telecommunications Joint Stock Company, former Chairman of FPT Software Company Limited.
He joined FPT in 1993 after graduating from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, majoring in Information Technology.
He is a leader with many creative ideas and a long history of management in many business fields at FPT. During his working time, Mr. Tien has always been trusted by the Group's leaders and assigned many important positions.
In 2012, Mr. Hoang Nam Tien was appointed as Chairman of FPT Software Company Limited (FPT Software). He has contributed to helping FPT Software achieve a growth rate of over 30% for many consecutive years, becoming one of the 500 largest software companies in the world and entering the Top 100 leading service providers in the world.
Previously, in his role as General Director of FPT Distribution Company Limited, he also made an important contribution to helping FPT achieve the goal of achieving 1 billion USD in revenue in 2008.

Mr. Tien is on the list of 100 Outstanding intellectuals of Vietnam on the Economic Front in 2012 and a certificate of merit from the Minister of Information and Communications in 2016.
