Hupo is a technology startup based in Singapore, founded by Justin Kim. Initially, the company operated under the name Ami, focusing on supporting users in managing pressure, forming habits and improving mental recovery.
Sharing with TechCrunch, Justin Kim - co-founder and CEO of Hupo said that the work performance research process shows that results in strictly managed areas such as banking and insurance depend heavily on training quality, feedback and employee confidence, while traditional training methods are difficult to cover the entire sales team.
From there, Hupo shifted its direction to developing AI sales training solutions, using real-time voice analysis technology to support employees in important moments, instead of replacing the role of humans.
Recently, Hupo raised 10 million USD in the Series A funding round led by DST Global Partners. The company currently serves many large customers in Asia - Pacific and Europe such as Prudential, AXA, Manulife, HSBC and Grab, and is expected to expand to the US market this year.
The total capital Hupo has mobilized to date has reached 15 million USD. New capital will be used to develop products, expand deployment at the enterprise level and strengthen the human resources in the coming time.
