On January 13, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Office organized a conference of agency voters to collect opinions to introduce candidates for the 16th National Assembly and Ho Chi Minh City People's Council deputies for the 2026 - 2031 term.
At the conference, after listening to the profile excerpt of the person introduced for candidacy, voters participated in speaking, commenting, and evaluating the political qualities, morality, lifestyle, working process as well as the relationship with the collective of Mr. Tran Luu Quang - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, National Assembly deputy of the XV term.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Luu Quang pledged to strive to do well the role and responsibility of National Assembly deputies if they are trusted by voters to introduce and be elected National Assembly deputies of the XVI term.
With 100% of voters voting in favor, the conference unanimously introduced Mr. Tran Luu Quang - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, National Assembly deputy of the XV term, and candidate for National Assembly deputy of the XVI term.
Also at the conference, voters of the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee unanimously voted to approve the list of people introduced to run for deputy of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, including: Mr. Le Quoc Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, National Assembly Deputy of the XV term; Ms. Van Thi Bach Tuyet - Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, National Assembly Deputy of the XV term; Mr. Pham Hong Son - Member of the City Party Committee, Chief of the Office of the City Party Committee, delegate of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council of the X term.
