In addition, Zalo also affirmed that their system meets international standard ISO/IEC 27001:2022 on information security and has been evaluated and certified by BSI organization.

Users' right to initiative when sharing data
According to Zalo, "sharing with a third party must be done by the user proactively confirming consent in accordance with the law. For example, when the user accesses third-party applications, we will display the screen so that the user can decide to share information for that application.
Zalo proactively does not store the content of messages and calls between individuals. We are committed not to using the content of messages and calls between individuals for any purpose.
In addition, this application also affirms that users have the right to view, update or adjust privacy-related settings right in the Zalo application by going to Personal > Privacy as well as contacting Zalo when needing personal data support.
