According to Forbes data recorded at about 1:00 AM on August 5, 2026 (Vietnam time), Elon Musk continues to hold the position of the richest person in the world with assets of 769.2 billion USD.

Compared to the 690.1 billion USD recorded at 4:30 PM on August 1, 2026, Musk's assets have increased by 75.1 billion USD, equivalent to about 11.46%.

This increase helps Elon Musk's assets not only return above the 700 billion USD mark but also approach the 770 billion USD mark. Previously, on August 1, his assets fell below 700 billion USD after a period of strong fluctuations.

Elon Musk currently owns 461.7 billion USD more than the second-placed Larry Page. This gap has widened significantly compared to 398 billion USD on August 1.

With the current asset size, Elon Musk's leading position continues to be consolidated. His assets are about 2.5 times higher than the world's second richest person.
