As noted, the previous small industrial investment and development corporation (Becamex IDC) originated from Ben Cat and Binh Duong.
Becamex IDC gradually reached out to become a large industrial and urban developer in Vietnam. Enterprises implementing many large projects associated with the development process of Binh Duong province.
Most notably, industrial real estate. In 1996-1997, Becamex IDC was trusted to choose to become an investment partner to develop Vietnam Industrial Park Singapore (VSIP 1).
This is a model industrial park in Binh Duong, inviting many large FDI projects, creating tens of thousands of jobs for workers. Currently, in Binh Duong, there are industrial parks VSIP II, VSIP III and more than 10 other industrial parks in many provinces across the country.
Becamex IDC is also a great investor of famous industrial parks in Binh Duong such as My Phuoc 1, My Phuoc 2, My Phuoc 3, Bau Bang.
In Binh Phuoc, Becamex IDC is the investor of Becamex Binh Phuoc industrial park thousands of hectares. In December 2024, continuing to start construction phase 2 of this industrial park with a total planning area of more than 4,500 hectares.
Currently, Becamex IDC continues to develop other industrial parks in Bau Bang district of Binh Duong.
Make many large roads
Becamex IDC is a famous enterprise for developing transport infrastructure in Binh Duong.
Since 2000, Becamex IDC has implemented a project to build Highway 13 60 km long from Ho Chi Minh City to the border of Binh Phuoc province with 6 lanes. The route becomes the backbone of the development corridor in Binh Duong. Currently, it is continued to be expanded to 8 lanes.
Another large road that this business is My Phuoc Tan Van. The road is about 60km long, of which the 26km segment is 6 lanes, the remaining section of 10 lanes.
My Phuoc Tan Van becomes a strategic connection corridor of the industrial centers of Binh Duong (My Phuoc & Bau Bang) to Long Thanh International Airport and Cai Mep Water Port.
Recently, Becamex IDC continues to be selected to jointly implement the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh highway project 52km long, the section through Binh Duong. The project has a total investment of more than VND 8,833 billion, currently starting construction, expected to put into operation in 2027.
Becamex IDC is also an investor who proposes to implement the project of Ring Road 4 Ho Chi Minh City through Binh Duong.
Construction of 47,500 social houses
Becamex IDC is the leading unit in local social housing development. After more than 10 years of implementation, Becamex IDC has built social houses in many localities: Thuan An, Thu Dau Mot, Ben Cat and Bau Bang.
With the initial social housing project of 65,000 units, which has been built to complete more than 47,500 units, currently the Corporation continues to expand the next phase to create opportunities to settle for hundreds of thousands of workers.
The State also holds 95.44% of charter capital
According to the People's Committee of Binh Duong Province, until December 9, 2024, the Provincial People's Committee also held 95.44% of the charter capital of Becamex IDC.
The total charter capital of this enterprise is 10,350 billion dong, the State's contributed capital is 9,878 billion dong.
Regarding business activities, the latest report shows that the results of production and business activities in the third quarter of the third quarter of 2024 have a total revenue of VND 1,156 billion, after -tax profit is VND 367 billion.
