Ca Mau Provincial Fatherland Front visits and wishes Tet to Chol Chnam Thmay Khmer people

In the afternoon of April 8, the working delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province visited and wished Tet to Chol Chnam Thmay pagodas and Khmer people in the area.

The working delegation led by Mr. Bui Minh Hai - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province visited and wished Tet to dignitaries and officials at Buppharam Pagoda (Cai Gia Chot), Ghositaram Pagoda (Cu Lao), Hung Hoi commune and some former Vice Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province who are Khmer ethnic people.

At the places visited, Mr. Bui Minh Hai cordially inquired about the health and life of the Venerable Monks, Superior Monks, Great Monks, Khmer compatriots and former leaders; and sent New Year wishes for peace, prosperity, joy, solidarity, safety, and thrift.

The working delegation acknowledged and highly appreciated the role of dignitaries, officials and prestigious people among the Khmer people in mobilizing Buddhists and people to well comply with the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State; actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, contributing to socio-economic development, preserving cultural identity and consolidating the great national unity bloc.

On this occasion, the delegation presented gifts to pagodas and dignitaries, showing the concern of the Party, State and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province for the Khmer people on the occasion of the traditional Tet.

The activity of visiting and wishing Tet to Chol Chnam Thmay is organized annually, contributing to strengthening the close relationship between Party committees, authorities, and the Fatherland Front with Khmer people, encouraging people to continue to promote the tradition of solidarity and join hands to build a developed homeland of Ca Mau.
