On July 14, Mr. Le Thanh Binh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province - led a delegation to visit and present gifts to policy families in Son Dong ward to celebrate the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026).
The delegation visited the families of Ms. Nguyen Thi Nghiem, Ms. Nguyen Thi Chuc, Ms. Le Thi Hue, Mr. Nguyen Chi Cong and Mr. Ho Van Hung who are wounded soldiers, relatives of martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution in the ward.
At each family, Mr. Le Thanh Binh, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, visited and inquired about the health and life, and expressed deep gratitude for the sacrifices and contributions of wounded soldiers, martyrs and people with meritorious services to the cause of national liberation, construction and defense of the Fatherland.
Leaders of the working delegation affirmed that caring for people with meritorious services is always a consistent policy of the Party, State and the whole society. The gifts presented express gratitude, contributing to spreading the tradition of "Drinking water, remembering the source", "Gratitude" in the community.
