On July 24, Cao Bang Provincial Police said that Ha Lang Commune Police had just arrested a subject for the act of illegally possessing drugs during the 90-day and night peak period of attacking and suppressing crimes, ensuring security and order in the area.
Accordingly, at about 10:30 pm on July 23, while patrolling in the Viet Chu hamlet area, Ha Lang commune, the Ha Lang Commune Police task force discovered and caught red-handed Nong Van Doan (born 1988, residing in Ly Van hamlet, Ly Quoc commune, Cao Bang province) in the act of illegally possessing drugs.
Exhibits seized included a nylon package containing white powder, weighing 0.3 grams. Initially, the subject confessed to being heroin.
Currently, Ha Lang Commune Police are continuing to investigate and consolidate the file to handle the subject according to the provisions of law.
