On August 5, information from Nghe An Police said that, implementing the policy on site clearance and resettlement arrangement, many households subject to relocation in Muong Tip commune have coordinated with local authorities to dismantle and relocate houses and assets to the resettlement area according to plan.
To support people in the relocation process, Muong Tip Commune Police mobilized officers and soldiers to directly help households in Xop Phe village dismantle and transport houses and property to new residences.
According to Nghe An Police, the relocation of households not only contributes to ensuring the progress of projects but also helps people soon stabilize their lives in the resettlement area, where infrastructure, transportation, electricity, water and essential services are invested.
The arrangement of resettlement is also aimed at ensuring safety for people in areas at risk of natural disasters, and at the same time serving the implementation of socio-economic development projects in the area.
Muong Tip is a mountainous border commune in western Nghe An province, mainly hilly terrain, with population distributed in many highland villages.
