On August 4, Phu Tho Provincial Police said that Dai Dong Commune Police promptly supported a man who encountered an accident while on patrol, and at the same time verified his identity and contacted relatives to bring the citizen back to his family safely.

At about 2 am on August 1, while patrolling on the Ho Chi Minh road, passing through Ho hamlet, Dai Dong commune, the task force discovered a man riding a bicycle in an accident on the side of the road.

Through inspection, functional forces found that this person showed signs of fatigue, inadequate health and could not continue moving.

The working group took both people and vehicles to the Dai Dong Commune Police headquarters for rest, initial health care, clothing support and spiritual encouragement.

In parallel with that, Dai Dong Commune Police urgently verified the identity to find the citizen's relatives. Through verification, the victim was Mr. Can Xuan Hanh (born 1963, residing in Tay Phuong commune, Hanoi city).

Immediately after identifying the identity, the unit proactively contacted the family, informed the situation and agreed on a plan to welcome Mr. Hanh back.

At about 4 pm on the same day, after completing the necessary procedures, Dai Dong Commune Police handed over Mr. Hanh to his relatives, ensuring safety.

Mr. Hanh's family expressed their emotion and thanked the officers and soldiers of Dai Dong Commune Police for their timely help, care and support throughout the verification and contact process.
