According to the Da Nang City e-Portal, the working trip focused on reviewing the list of projects that need land recovery in 2026, thereby preparing content to serve the upcoming City People's Council meeting. The focus of this inspection is the Avương inter-level boarding primary and secondary school project.
At the working session, representatives of the leadership of Avương commune reported in detail on the project progress. Specifically, as of March 26, 2026, the local government basically completed the compensation and site clearance stages. The commune handed over about 98% of the land area to the construction unit to deploy construction.
However, the current obstacle lies in a few households that have not agreed to hand over land. The main reason is that people believe that the current compensation price is still low, not enough to cover the cost of buying land and building new houses, causing difficulties for the process of stabilizing life.
In order to thoroughly solve this problem, the Avương commune government proposed that competent authorities consider and allow the application of additional support measures. This move helps households subject to land acquisition have more resources to take care of their own accommodation, thereby creating consensus to soon hand over 100% of the site.
The locality identifies this as a key solution to accelerate the progress of the Avương inter-level boarding primary and secondary school project in accordance with the general policy of the Politburo.
Directly inspecting the construction site, the working delegation highly appreciated the efforts of the Avương commune government in mobilizing and compensating for site clearance in the past time. The delegation acknowledged all local recommendations to summarize and report at the upcoming City People's Council meeting.
In addition, the working group requested the contractor to urgently adjust the ground plan to suit the reality. The construction unit must strengthen the embankment system to ensure absolute safety and strictly comply with the process of changing land use purposes for forest land and rice land.
Along with that, contractors need to mobilize maximum manpower and resources to accelerate progress and soon complete the project according to the set plan.
