On April 7, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense, Standing Deputy Head of Steering Committee 1128 of the Ministry of National Defense - chaired the inspection of the application and development of science and technology (S&T), innovation (I innovation), digital transformation (CDS) in education and training at the Naval Academy.
Over the past time, the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of the Naval Academy, Party committees, and commanders of agencies, departments, and units have regularly led and directed KHCN, CĐS, and administrative reform activities to serve well the tasks of education and training, and scientific research.
The Academy has many topics and initiatives at all levels, CĐS tasks are strictly implemented and put into teaching for subjects and synchronously implement solutions to build "Smart Schools" in accordance with the criteria.
Through inspection at the Combat Simulation Training Center, through presenting combat situations for officers, lecturers, and trainees to handle, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien drew experience with the Naval Academy in education and training, CĐS, and raised a number of issues for the Academy to focus on researching and innovating to keep up with the development of technology and meet task requirements.
Speaking at the conclusion of the inspection, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien praised the results achieved by the Naval Academy in applying and developing KHCN, ĐMST, CĐS in education and training, implementing Project 06 and administrative reform.
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien requested the Party Committee and the Command of the Navy to continue to pay attention to and prioritize investing resources, especially high-quality human resources, funds, and modern technical weapons and equipment for the Naval Academy, focusing on building a "Smart and Modern School", to effectively implement breakthrough tasks and solutions for education and training development.
The Academy needs to have solutions to ensure that 100% of lecturers and educational administrators meet digital competency standards and the ability to apply artificial intelligence in teaching and management.
