According to a report by the General Department of National Defense Industry, the military vehicle project has completed phase 2 testing, and basic technical and tactical indicators meet the set requirements. Currently, preparations for mass production are being implemented synchronously, from completing technical documents, technology lines to ensuring material sources.
According to the plan, the Ministry of National Defense's acceptance process is expected to be completed in April 2026. After that, the product will be put into production, serving actual testing at the unit before proceeding to mass production.
For the military transport vehicle project, initial test results show that the vehicle ensures mobility, meets task requirements and is researched and manufactured domestically. The project is expected to complete approval and acceptance procedures in the near future, serving as a basis for implementing the next steps.
Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Pham Hoai Nam praised the General Department of National Defense Industry and agencies and units participating in the project for proactively implementing tasks, ensuring the set progress; and at the same time requested the General Department of National Defense Industry to continue to closely coordinate with relevant units to accelerate the progress of completing acceptance according to the plan; ensure synchronous and regular production lines along with human resources and technical materials; direct units to fully prepare conditions to organize mass production, meeting task requirements in the coming time.
