On August 28, the Naval Academy held a graduation ceremony for officer training at the rank of platoon, Course 66, yearbook 2021 - 2026. Rear Admiral Nguyen Van Bach, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Navy, attended and delivered a directing speech.
At the ceremony, Rear Admiral, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Thanh Cong, Director of the Naval Academy, said that 100% of course 66 students met the graduation requirements, of which 81.29% achieved good and excellent grades; 63% of graduates were awarded the rank of lieutenant.
There are 8 students who achieved the title of excellent student of the entire course, 10 students who wrote and defended their essays in English and Russian; 1 student was proposed to the Ministry of National Defense to be commended as valedictorian.
In the course, the Naval Academy focuses on completing the content and training program; innovating teaching and learning methods; building a team of lecturers and educational administrators; investing in facilities; promoting digital transformation, applying information technology, science and technology in education and training.
Students of course 66 complete their study tasks, meet the output standards according to the training program; have political bravery, firm ideological stance, and are ready to receive and complete assigned tasks.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Rear Admiral Nguyen Van Bach acknowledged, praised and congratulated the achievements of the Naval Academy and students of course 66.
Rear Admiral Nguyen Van Bach requested the Naval Academy to continue to implement projects on education and training; pay attention to fostering lecturers and education managers; improve foreign language proficiency and digital skills. At the same time, innovate the content, programs, and training methods according to output standards, suitable for training activities, combat readiness and modern combat trends.
The Naval Academy is required to promote the application of science, technology, artificial intelligence and digital transformation in education, training, scientific research; strengthen cooperation with training institutions, science and technology organizations inside and outside the army.
For graduates, Rear Admiral Nguyen Van Bach requested them to continue to cultivate, study, train, improve their qualifications, manage, exploit weapons and equipment, and complete assigned tasks.
At the ceremony, the Naval Academy announced the decisions, awarded diplomas, the title of excellent student of the whole course, rewarded the course and decided to confer military ranks on graduates.
On this occasion, the Deputy Japanese Defense Attaché in Vietnam awarded medals and certificates of merit from the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force to trainee Nguyen Duy Huong, who graduated as the valedictorian of the entire course.
